Hailing from various parts of upstate New York, Summer People (http://www.summerppl.com) consists of members from Fire When Ready, Mysterious Mysteries, The Trip Wilsons, Rival Tribes, and Crime Pays. Eight months following their origin, Summer People recorded their debut full-length record "Good Problems" from January 2-6, 2009. "Good Problems" was release by Red Leader Records on January 12, 2010 on CD/LP. On March 1, 2011 Summer People released "TEAMWORK" via Low Light (http://www.lowlightrecords.com).

Summer People's "TEAMWORK" delivers an eclectic variety of rock and roll songs that seem to examine the genre a bit more closely. Listening to the record, one gets traces of painfully beautiful blues, erratic punk, and even rhythm-heavy salsa as each track relays a powerful, often huge song, somehow with a memorable hook each time despite the genre exploration. The array of unique vocal melodies, ranging from wild howls to haunting chants, paint vivid lyrical scenes that create a cohesive fabric for the record as a whole. The arrangement of all of these intricacies is crafted in such a way that a new understanding is achieved with each repeated listen of this album that positively teems with energy.
