Chiddy Bang is an alternative hip hop duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania consisting of Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege, and Noah "Xaphoon Jones" Beresin. The pair shot to international prominence in 2010 with the release of their major-label debut single Opposite of Adults which peaked within the Top 20 on various singles charts worldwide including the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Belgium.
Chiddy Bang formed when Anamege and Beresin met at Drexel University in 2008. After months of support from underground music blogs, the pair released their debut mixtape The Swelly Express via blog Pretty Much Amazing. The release was met with widespread acclaim and led to the group signing a recording contract with EMI in January 2010.
Their first commercial single on the label taken from their The Swelly Express mixtape, Opposite of Adults, samples the Brooklyn group MGMT's 'Kids' and was released on February 21, 2010 in the UK. It reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and later peaked at 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. A second single from the mixtape titled Truth was released in the UK and peaked at number 50. St. Lucia
St. Lucia is what happens when the long and bleak winters of New York recede and summer emerges; giving birth to memories of childhood holidays, faded photos of exotic places and the dream of recapturing this. Inspired by his homeland of South Africa, his journey through the UK and relocation to Brooklyn, St Lucia could reference the sonics of Temper Trap, or the infectiousness of Empire of the Sun, but ultimately it is a wall of atmospherics crafted with an inordinate amount of time-consuming precision.

If you're not familiar with the back-story of Savoir Adore, what began as a 48-hour challenge between two best friends blossomed into one of Brooklyn's most exciting and unique young bands.
With an experimental approach to their writing and recording, Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro weave a magical musical tapestry with their distinct voices, lush harmonies, and wild sonic palette. Somewhere between dream pop and adventure wave, their songs transport you to a world that is both foreign and warmly familiar. With the release of their debut album In The Wooded Forest behind them, Savoir Adore are continuing their musical adventures into uncharted territories.
With new songs and a captivating show that constantly evolves to accommodate their dynamic creative vision, the band will play SXSW in March and then head back into the studio to explore the unknown.
