Speedy Ortiz
Add To My Artists

Speedy Ortiz's 'Cop Kicker EP' and full-length 'The Death of Speedy Ortiz' consist of home demos made by Sadie Dupuis (Quilty) during the summer of 2011. Every song was written in around thirty minutes and recorded immediately afterwards. Sadie plays everything on the recordings posted. Now the band also includes buddies Matt Robidoux (Graph), Mike Falcone (Dead Wives/Ovlov) and Dan Ferm (Day Sleeper).

"There are the obvious Pavement/Sebadoh/GBV ghosts here but there's also something else far more sinister at work as these songs creep to a place that [...] none of those hallmark artists ever approached." - Cooling Pie Records

"Wavering layers of bursting guitar noise, jaw dropping melodies, and songwriting talents that shine thanks to her amazing bleak sense of humor." - Exploding in Sound

Diehard
Add To My Artists

Diehard, a band from NYC, is four people shrinking their influences into immediate indie pop, like a cannonball dressed up in an autumn sweater.

There is also at least one, if not many, metal bands named Diehard or Die Hard. You can probably tell the difference.
