Speedy Ortiz's 'Cop Kicker EP' and full-length 'The Death of Speedy Ortiz' consist of home demos made by Sadie Dupuis (Quilty) during the summer of 2011. Every song was written in around thirty minutes and recorded immediately afterwards. Sadie plays everything on the recordings posted. Now the band also includes buddies Matt Robidoux (Graph), Mike Falcone (Dead Wives/Ovlov) and Dan Ferm (Day Sleeper).

Slothbear is the formation of four of the most majestic, beautiful and powerful music performers of the century coming together once again. After coming together to fight God at the beginning of the century, and defeating him, they reached an agreement that if they were granted eternal life they would let him have power back. God was quick to grant this and thus slothbear was born. They first pioneered the art of the Gregorian chant. After this they laid low waiting for the right time to reemerge. They then reemerged as The Beatles and pretty much owned everyone else who ever played music. After deciding that John Lennon was gay they killed him and went back into hiding. They have finally reemerged and granted us the truly great gift of their music once again, this time much better than The Beatles. Pitchfork was quick to give them Artist of the Year and Artist of the Decade when they released their first EP knowing that they would probably never hear anything as good in their lifetime. It is said that if you listen to their songs hard enough that you will know what God sounds like, probably because they are God. MINDFUCK!

It is rumored that one of the members of slothbear is dating the lead singer of metric until he can do better.
