Brooklyn NY noise rock duo ps xo is Val Opielski on guitar and loops, and Heather Wagner on drums. Birthed as a side project while their bandmates in the Walking Hellos were on maternity leave, ps xo became too much fun to give up, and lives on. Using layered guitar loops, enough effects pedals to create an onstage trip-hazard, samples, and erratic time signature changes, they create a charming dissonance that falls somewhere between Japanese noise rock and the Shaggs.

THE LIKELY HOODS is a garage ponk soul rock band from Brooklyn, NY; a sonic revelry of drums and thick walls of overdrive bashing around in the musical space between the garage-punk spirit of X and the old-school brawn of Black Sabbath while humming a Radiohead tune.

Formed by Jeff "JD" Wood (expat of the 90s Seattle scene) and drummer Dave Friel, The Likely Hoods (TLH) has many irons in the musical fire, finding inspiration in a wide range of sources from the stomp of Zeppelin to the tongue-in-cheek fun of the Ramones and points between and far beyond. Wood and Friel began collaborating in 2007 when a clever musicians want ad by Friel coincided with Wood's bandmates in Paleface & Just About To Burn decision to leave NYC. A brief flirtation with working as a session rhythm section team soon gave way to songwriting and eventually performing/recording under the moniker "Tight White Jeans" until establishing The Likely Hoods as their 'hood of choice.

Harlan is a five piece indie rock/pop group from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Still Beat, Harlan's first EP, was written and recorded in conjunction with John Harlan Norris's art school thesis. Norris played all of the instruments on the album. He has since assembled a group of local artists/musicians (members of Liquidrone, Bones, the Myrtles, and the New Orleans Bingo Show) to play live shows.
