Psychic Ills is a group that became active in NYC sometime during 2003. Their sound has included a combination of rock experimentation, drones, electronic textures, and various ethnic influences. Their live shows have varied widely and have been known to have an improvised performance art element as well. The current line up consists of Elizabeth Hart, Brian Tamborello, and Tres Warren.

Their 2nd album "Mirror Eye", is set to be released on January 20th of 2009 on The Social Registry label.

A 'mini-album' Catoptric, is said to follow that later in the year.

1. A hazy art-rock duo from NY, consisting of CKLF (drums, electronics, voice) and SD (guitar, voice, samples). They have shared bills with people like Thee Majesty, Eric Copeland, Ducktails, Dan Deacon. They self released their S/T debut on SD's own Last Nights Records, which can be downloaded here. Member SD has studied with multimedia artist, Fluxus associate, & Yoshi Wada collaborator Liz Phillips. Most recently they have also released the cassettes The 60's Sound & Know What I Mean via Last Nights Records/AMDISCS.
