Brooklyn, NY 11211Those Mockingbirds
Those Mockingbirds is a 5-piece rock band formed in Montclair, NJ, United States in 2009. The band's sound switches from pop-rock to alt-rock with their sweet dose of catchy melodies, hooky lyrics, and heavy riffs. The dual vocals of guitarist Adam Birds and keyboardist/violinist Tory Daines match perfectly together with the indie flavoring of those two instruments. With three EP's in their repertoire, an infamous cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain," and a vinyl release of the latest release, Fa Sol La, coming out, Those Mockingbirds is ready to fly.

Opinions on The Nico Blues
"Watching and listening feels though you happened to stumble across a group of your friends playing music. And discover they're quite talented."
-MTV.com
"The band's energy flows from the tumult of indie-rock progenitors like Pavement and The Replacements, but the complexity of the three intertwined guitars and the band's freewheeling rhythm also tap into the allure of classic jam bands like The Grateful Dead."
- The Star Ledger
"The Nico Blues sound as if Oasis (and sometimes Blur) exploded in Seattle in the mid-90's instead of the UK."
-The Deli Magazine
"The Nico Blues took every great record from 1985-2005 and somehow mashed them together to create a surprisingly original and ear pleasing debut LP."
-The NJ Underground
