Brooklyn, NY 11211Saul Williams
Born in Newburgh, New York, United States, 1972, Saul Williams is considered a powerful voice of the hip-hop generation as a poet, actor, rapper, singer and musician. Best known for his blend of spoken word poetry and hip-hop, and for his leading role in the independent film Slam, he received notable recognition while supporting Nine Inch Nails for parts of their 2005-2006 tour. Saul's third album, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation Of Niggy Tardust, was produced by Trent Reznor, and released via the internet on November 1, 2007. In the days leading up to its release, several tracks featuring a combination of industrial and hip-hop production were "leaked" to the internet.
Williams has published four books of poetry: "The Seventh Octave", "S/he", ",said the shotgun to the head." and "The Dead Emcee Scrolls"; and released three albums: Amethyst Rock Star, the self titled Saul Williams, and most recently, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation Of Niggy Tardust.

Their over-the-top, mosh pit inspiring, high-energy performances were influential in putting the dirty in the dirty south, inspired some of the bugged-out sounds and looks of today, and caught the early attention of Lil Jon, Dallas Austin, Cypress Hill, Body Count, and Andre 3000.
In the mid 90's: CX became the producer and DJ for the Further 3 MCs / Further Uplifter (which featured Tchaka Diallo of CX's "Big Girl Skinny Girl"), ...... and also toured with Hardcore Ska spazouts Gnip Gnop (which featured Jason BK on Bass) where CX was featured as a lead bug-out vocalist, and cassette-tape sound effect blaster. CX also recorded and performed with ATL band El Pus, appearing on their first lp "Strange Cowboy", and on their latest album "Hoodlum Rock: Vol 1" out on Virgin Records (2005) (also featuring Tchak Diallo); CX also did the cover art.
In the present: In this new GANGSTER KRAK TAKEOVER era, CX KiDTRONiK joined forces with High Priest, M.Sayyid, and Beans of Antipop Consortium, then Airborn Audio, and went on to record his first solo album "KraK AttacK" for Sound-Ink Records.
CX has also now re-teamed with his old K.I.N. bandmember Saul Williams as his DJ / Live Beat Blaster and co-vocalist and has been touring heavily worldwide with Saul since August 2005.
In March of 2006 while on the "With Teeth" tour with Saul (opening for Nine Inch Nails) through April '06, CX, Saul and Thavius Beck began recording the Saul Williams album "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!" with Trent Reznor as executive producer.
