Eisley
Eisley is an indie-pop rock band from Tyler, Texas, United States. Eisley consists of four siblings: Sherri DuPree, Stacy DuPree, Chauntelle DuPree and Weston DuPree -- and their cousin, Garron DuPree.
The band began as an after-church endeavor when the DuPrees were young. The band was named Moss Eisley, after the Star Wars city Mos Eisley, but for legal reasons the "Moss" was dropped officially when they announced their tour opening for Coldplay. Now they're all grown up and have both headlined and opened for bands such as (but not limited to): Taking Back Sunday, Coldplay, Switchfoot, Snow Patrol, Brand New, Vedera, MUTEMATH, The Myriad, Hot Hot Heat and New Found Glory, and Say Anything, in which Sherri DuPree married lead singer Max Bemis. Featuring ethereal, soaring harmonies and dreamy imagery, Eisley has a sound all their own. They are, however, not without comparison or influence. Their sound echoes to dream pop and artists such as Cocteau Twins or Mazzy Star and to contemporary acts such as Denali.

Marksmen
Fresh Tampa four-piece Marksmen fuses hard roots and dark Southern rock in their inaugural recording, a solid 25-minute work marked by resounding rhythms and a vocalist whose wails are dosed heavily with raw longing. Singer-songwriter Geri X makes an appearance midway through for "Conformity Is Key," a pretty acoustic ballad with the ironic refrain, "You're too caught up inside of your idealistic mind / conformity is key / when love is what you seek / and you shall find, eventually, eventually.

Christie DuPree is the younger sister of four Eisley band members and a cousin of the fifth. She posts solo music on websites like purevolume and mypace but has not yet made an official release. She recently lent her voice to Wesley Jensen's album Pirates & Cowboys, however, and accompanied him on stage during Eisley's acoustic tour in the summer of 2007.
