The Pass
Add To My Artists

The story of the Pass goes something like this: Kyle Peters and Will Roberts met and became friends in high school in New Jersey and played in a couple of garage bands together. Will moved to Louisville where he met the rest of the group; Brian Healey and Neil Lucas. Unsatisfied with separate projects Kyle and Will decided to start a band and Kyle moved to Louisville. Strongly influenced by the dance beats of Justice, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, and an affinity for 80s synth pop, The Pass was born.

We currently spend endless nights toying around with synthesizer loops, crafting haunting melodies, and writing deep passionate lyrics that recall long lost loves and hookups on the dance floor. With a basement sound lab that lends itself as much to electric ladyland as it does a preschool nursery there is a neverending quest for a balanced perfection of synthesizer pop and dancefloor psychedelia. Our live show is somewhere between the final act of a three ring circus and a rave in prague.

Instrumentation
Will Roberts - Bass and Synth
Kyle Peters - Guitar and Synth
Brian Healey - Keys and Synth
Neil Lucas - Drums

The Party Faithful
Add To My Artists

Brooklyn's The Party Faithful formed when Patrick Harmon (lead vocals, guitar) and Erica D'Andrea Gray (bass, vocals) combined their affection for post-punk-tinged anthemic rock with their affection for each other (they married soon after). The band has grown to a party of four with the additions of classically trained Karen Hou (piano, vocals) and drummer Pat Morin.

Whether on tape or on stage, the party pours forth lush emotion, lyrical labyrinths and soaring riffs, winning hearts and minds at shows across the city and along the northeast corridor. They've released the rollicking Seven Cycles EP, landed a track on Blast Radius' 2009 compilation of Brooklyn bands you need to hear and just completed work on a new album, "Gold Light".
