Greg and Derek sang a capella together at Carleton College in Minnesota. They built a following in New York after releasing a free EP on their website and playing shows on their own and as openers for other artists. After several line-up changes, the group will release their debut album in March 2010, followed by an appearance at SXSW.

Amidst the endless intricacies of New York City, during an undisclosed period of time within the year 2009, Analog Fire took form. This phantasmal quartet is composed of producer Gregory Louisy, guitarist Asher Elbaz, bassist Noah Ross, and enigmatic front-man Eno Freedman.
Risen from nothing but the unholy marriage of a budget laptop and a loop pedal, Analog Fire has surely surpassed above and beyond its humble roots.
