It's a wonderful winter tune that possesses a restrained but sublime power similar to that of slowcore masters Low.
The Loom plays tonight at Brooklyn Bowl with Pearl and the Beard and Team B as part of the second "Brunch After Dark" show presented by the Backyard Brunch Sessions, a series of backyard concerts in Williamsburg. The Loom played a Backyard Brunch Session back in October, and you can download the entire performance over on NYC Taper.
They also play February 26 at The Rock Shop with The Wailing Wall, Soft Landing and Rice Cultivation Society and March 12 at the Knitting Factory with The Rural Alberta Advantage and Pepper Rabbit.
