Here's a video of Text of Light, which includes Sonic Youth's Lee Renaldo as well as Alan Licht and Ulrich Krieger, performing Christian Marclay's "Screenplay" at the Whitney Museum back in July as part of Marclay's exhibition "Festival."
Text of Light plays tonight at Le Poisson Rouge with Loud Objects, and this weekend Ranaldo heads up to the Kutshers Country Club to play with Sonic Youth.
Also, "Festival" is at the Whitney through September 26, with performances by the likes of Peter Evans, Yasunao Tone and Andrea Parkins happening on a daily basis. That's definitely worth checking out.
