Our friend Georgia (of Microphone Memory Emotion and Sound of the City) has put together a nice Friday night lineup for the Northside Festival at Matchless.
It's a showcase for the blog Brooklyn Based. Headlining is Underwater Peoples Records "house band" Family Portrait, and the bill is rounded out by three Brooklyn bands, Coasting, Fluffy Lumbers and Bermuda Bonnie. This one's gonna be good, so make sure it's on your schedule for this weekend. And get there early, because there will be $1 Heinekens from 8-10pm.
