Tonight there is a show happening in Manhattan that you absolutely do not want to miss. Real Estate, The Beets, Tony Castles, Beach Fossils and Total Slacker will play at St. James Church, the second oldest Catholic church in New York City. Built in 1837, it's located at 32 James Street between Henry Street and Madison Street in Chinatown, near the Brooklyn Bridge.
This is a terrific lineup of bands that have been making waves lately in NYC and beyond. We've been particularly obsessed with Real Estate's self-titled debut album, but the whole bill for tonight is incredibly solid. Come early and enjoy it all.
Below you can watch a promo video for the show, featuring some shots of the church, as well as a live video of Real Estate playing "Fake Blues" at SXSW this past spring.
Also, click here to check out a live recording by NYCTaper of Real Estate playing at Market Hotel back in October.
