Video: Neon Indian interviewed by Breakfast At Sulimay's Ann, playing NYC three times this week

Neon Indian

The folks at Woodshop Films recently posted an interview with Alan Palomo and the other members of Neon Indian. Breakfast at Sulimay's Ann asks the group about their sound (Palomo throws "psych-pop" out there), their previous work with VEGA and Ghosthustler, and more.

The video also includes some live footage, giving you an idea of what to expect if you are headed out to see Neon Indian this week. The band will play three sold-out nights, two at Mercury Lounge on Tuesday and Wednesday, and one at Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday. If you didn't snag tickets in time and you are really set on going, you might try Craiglist.

MNDR and Toro Y Moi open both Mercury Lounge shows, and Electric Tickle Machine will also play the Wednesday show. Tigercity and Awesome New Republic open at Brooklyn Bowl.

Neon Indian made their NYC debut back in October for CMJ, playing a show at Root Studios with The Almighty Defenders and Cale Parks. Check out photos from that show over at Brooklyn Vegan.
