This week has been a really good one for quality free shows. Monday there was no cover for Julian Lynch's show at Bruar Falls. Yesterday Real Estate and The Babies played a free Fader Bowl show at Brooklyn Bowl. And tonight Lucky Dragons, Lichens and Zomes play at the always-free Zebulon (though you should remember to put some money in the jar for the bands).

Los Angeles' Lucky Dragons always offer up something interesting. Consisting of the core duo of Luke Fischbeck and Sarah Rara, along with occasional collaborators, Lucky Dragons frequently employ live projections, audience interaction and other sonic expansions. They've brought their live performances to both prestigious museums (including the 2008 Whitney Biennial) and DIY spaces. Zebulon seems like a perfect place to witness what they do. And, if you can't make it out to the Zebulon show tonight, Lucky Dragons, Lichens and Zomes will also be playing at Market Hotel on Thursday night, along with Aoxolotl and Driphouse.
