Video: Das Racist - "Rainbow in the Dark" + more - See them tonight at Highline Ballroom, Wednesday at Southpaw, Saturday at Glasslands

Das Racist

Rap group Das Racist got quite a bit of attention about a year ago for their silly but somehow infectious song "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell." Maybe you've heard it? They've since received positive feedback from the likes of the New York Times, New York magazine, MTV and Playboy.com. They've also done interesting stuff like organize a music/comedy/panel discussion Minority Fest at Glasslands and defend hip-hop (in response to New Yorker pop columnist Sasha Frere-Jones' article about the end of the genre).

This week you've got three chances to check out their live show. Tonight they play with Freddie Gibbs, Mickey Factz, Gordon Voidwell and Tanlines at Highline Ballroom. Tomorrow they join Sonia's Party & The Everyone's Invited Band and Junk Science for a show at Southpaw. And Saturday you can catch them at Glasslands with Old Money, Lionshare and Green Street.

Below, check out Das Racist's newest video, "Rainbow in the Dark," directed by Jordan Fish, as well as Gordon Voidwell's remix of the group's "Shorty Said."
