If that sounds good, you're in luck, because the CSC Funk Band will be playing tonight at Issue Project Room and tomorrow at Zebulon.

We wrote about the CSC Funk Band back in December, but they've been up to a lot more since then, and they'll soon be releasing a new split 7" with Superhuman Happiness on Electric Cowbell Records.

These Brooklyn shows wrap up a string of East Coast tour dates with Greg Ginn & The Taylor Texas Corrugators.

Yep, that's the Greg Ginn from Black Flag.

Ginn's work with the Corrugators finds him delving into instrumental jams and Western swing—quite different from his punk stuff, but not a surprise, since Ginn has been dipping into jazz and jam band territories ever since Black Flag broke up in the mid-eighties.
