Active Child, the project of Los Angeles' Pat Grossi, opens both of M83's NYC shows this week, first at Webster Hall on Tuesday and then at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday.
This summer Grossi released his debut full-length You Are All I See on Vagrant Records, and below you can listen to a track from the deluxe edition of the album, which came out on November 1.
Here's the Village Voice's short take on Active Child playing the Music Hall of Williamsburg during CMJ:
Active Child was pretty stunning. His ringing harp added textural plinks and raindrop melodies, mitigating the band's thickness and his Antony-like vocals.
