Itsnotyouitsme has opened for Stars of the Lid and Collections of Colonies of Bees.
They have collaborated with So Percussion, Theo Bleckmann, Skuli Sverrisson, The Wordless Music Orchestra, Rob Schwimmer and Michel Gondry. Festivals included the Berkshire Fringe Festival, Bang on a Can Summer Festival, CMJ, Wordless Music Festival and they have been featured on NPR, WNYC, WFMU and newmusicbox.org.
Their first album, "walled gardens" received much critical acclaim. The New York Times's Allan Kozinn declared this "meltingly beautiful" disc one of the Best CDs of 2008.
Itsnotyouitsme scored the documentary "A Woman like That", by Ellen Weissbrod and Melissa Powell about the life of painter Artemisia Gentileschi.
Their second studio album, "everybody's pain is magnificent", was released on September 27th, 2011.
