Post Post is an indie rock band comprised of four college juniors who met and formed at Bryn Mawr College, an all-women's liberal arts college outside Philadelphia (they wouldn't let Kevin in, he had to go to Haverford instead). The group uses synth and a tight rhythm section to compliment singer/guitarist Michelle Zauner (formerly of Little Girl, Big Spoon), creating a sound that falls somewhere within the realm of earnest, melodic indie pop meets post-riot grrrl era rock meets synth-ridden new wave. The songs are intense, building momentum but rarely boiling over. Barely one year old, they've already earned opening spots for bands like Vivian Girls, Rachael Cantu, Neon Indian, A Place to Bury Strangers, Free Energy, Real Estate, the Big Pink, Toro y Moi, and Beach House.
Currently Post Post are in the studio working on an EP due out August 2010.
